Our client is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join their company in Ely.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills –
E-commerce/ Web Development
- Proven experience in developing e-commerce solutions using any development platform.
- Good understanding of external integrations such as payment engines.
- OOP an advantage
-In depth understanding of w3c standards for xhtml and css
-Good understanding of cross browser differences
It would also be useful if the ideal candidate had some experience in the following –
Smarty Experience using and extending the Smarty template engine
JavaScript Good understanding of JavaScript and the jQuery library
SEO Understanding of the principles involved and how to design effective sites to take advantage of Search Engines.
MVC Experience of any of the leading PHP MVC frameworks such as CakePHP.
Start: ASAP
Location: Ely
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 – 5.30
Salary: £negotiable depending on experience
