A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a recently Qualified Social Worker to join a brand new Young People Service based in Swanley, Kent. You will be working for a leading Charity that provides support to young people and their families throughout the UK.
Candidates for this position will need:
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- A DipSW or equivalent
- GSCC registration
- Previous experience working with families and children who are affected by homelessness, and substance misuse issues
- Knowledge of the Children's Act 1989 and Every Child Matters
- An enhanced CRB disclosure issued within the last 12 months
Responsibilities will include:
- To manage, asses and treat children and young people
- Conduct risk assessments
- Liaise with internal and external professional networks
- Manage a caseload of families within the community
