As a Tier 1 Automotive supplier Kelly Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for a high volume of Automotive Engineers to work for our Prestigious Clients UK wide.
A number of exciting opportunities have arisen within our prestigious client. As a world leading automotive manufacturer who are Improving and expanding their current vehicle line they have a number of opportunities working within a varied section for their busy development teams for a Software Engineer.
As a Software Engineer you will have experience of one or more of the following areas: Software Development Algorithm Development
Position Description: PMST leader for Pedestrian Contact Sensors electronics and Dynamic Seatbelt System. Pedestrian sensing Module Leader and Pedestrian ECU Software development and supplier software management for Active seat belts. Involving algorithm development and test in the Matlab / Simulink / Targetlink environment. Management of supplier algorithm and networks integration including signals and diagnostics. In-vehicle testing and validation in plant. Skills Required: CAN networks and Canalyser / Electronic Control modules and Part 2 diagnostics development and validation / FMC Electronics SDS and EFDVS exposure / Electronic control module test methodologies (Bench testing, Software simulation in the loop, breadboard testing and EMC testing). Algorithm development using Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow. FMEA, Test planning and reporting (DVP&R), APQP, test analysis. Commercially literate and experienced in budget control Proven Project management Skills with Full Service suppliers. Skills Preferred: CAD: Appreciation of Catia V5/4 and/or Ideas. Spoken German (preferred but not mandatory) Experience Required: Automotive electrical achitecture experience, diagnostics systems development (CANbus), supplier management. Experience Preferred: Experience of working in a fast-moving delivery-focussed environment. Candidates should have a BEng or BSc in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
