Reading based Fortify Software (www.fortify.com) is seeking an experienced Software Security Consultant to help customers with implementing software security assurance solutions based on its Fortify 360 product suite. The successful candidate will be based in the UK and report to the EMEA Security Practice Director. Primarily responsible for using Fortify 360 to scan customer source code, audit results with development and/or security teams and offer plans for remediation of vulnerabilities. Installing and configuring Fortify products onsite for customers, training customer staff and assessing and scoping application security needs and project planning.
Applicants must be degree educated in a technical discipline and have a minimum of 3 years experience in a software or security consulting role. You must also have extensive experience in software development using Java, Microsoft, .NET (C# or VB), or C/C++ and working knowledge of Fortify products.
This position requires a hands-on-approach and extensive travel throughout Europe.
