IT Support Analyst to £24k - Farnham, Surrey
IT Support Analyst is required by our client based near Farnham on the Surrey, Hampshire border. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £24,000 + benefits.
The position involves technical support problem solving in response to helpdesk calls from external users of our software, monitoring remote systems, and setting up systems and networks on-site and prior to shipment. Offering the opportunity to resolve technical challenges primarily using remote access tools, the role may also include some travel for installation or on-site intervention.
Duties
*Technical support of software at client sites either by remote access or on-site and also support of our own office infrastructure, including:
*Troubleshooting problems and issues and qualification of calls (Hardware, Network, Software, User error, 3rd party etc).
*Installation, configuration and administration of networking and both client and server hardware and software when required
Key skills
*Windows Server
*Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
*Relational databases
*Ideally hold MCP or MCSA certification
