Solutions Architect – Citrix & Microsoft - Solutions Architect
Our client provides IT infrastructure services designed to cover the entire lifecycle of their customers IT investment from consultancy to on-going support and management. Owing to recent expansion they are currently recruiting for an experienced Solutions Architect.
You will be reporting to the Head of Managed Services Operations and working in the Managed Services department. You will be primarily responsible for:
• IT Solution Creation, Design and Ownership
• Pre Sales, Demand creation activities
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent IT consulting, technical authority and solution creation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
• Excellent technical skills in more than one of the following areas;
? Citrix
? Microsoft
MAIN TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creation, design and ownership of managed service solutions
• Solution Ownership;
? Take full responsibility for the technical architecture of our solutions to develop, design and deliver complex, cross platform technology solutions.
? Communicate with customers to ensure Esteem designs and delivers a solution that fully meets their business requirements
? Undertake assessment of solution options (scoping, feasibility, design, services costing, deliverables, completion criteria, etc)
? Be the solution authority and technical team lead for assigned accounts ensuring the technical capability and currency of all engaged parties.
• Demonstrate integrity, flexibility and commitment in constantly re-appraising delivery performance and standards.
• Assist the sales team with bid or pre-sales requirements.
• Maintain good technology and general market knowledge, engaging with prospective and existing technology vendors to assess how new technologies will compliment Esteem’s current solution portfolio.
• Develop excellent working relationships within Esteem and with partners, ensuring that the reputation of Esteem is upheld at all times.
• Carry out other duties as assigned from time to time by the Head of Managed Services Operations

Must live within 45 minutes drive of Slough
You must be able to give examples of each of the following:
