Forward thinking, contemporary dining/drinking house situated in the north cotswolds, serving fine, fresh food in a contemporary and relaxed environment, seeking an ambitious and capable Sous Chef to join the brigade.
The kitchen team prepare all the sauces and stocks from scratch on the premises using locally and nationally sourced fresh food, where and when possible. The establishment has won critical acclaim, including 1 rosette award, both locally and nationally for the quality of the food and service as well as the excellent levels of hygiene. The property serves approx. 500 covers per week. The Head Chef demands passion and enthusiasm and in return will provide excellent training, great working environment and very agreeable terms of employment.
You must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Experience in a similar environment is essential, ie. rosettes are preferrable, as is history in fine dining types of property. Proven track record must be made available, with excellent references from previous employers. After an initial interview you'll be invited to take part in a trial shift on site and a decision will be made based on your overall performance.
