Africa Reservations
Reservations Agents are needed for a
leading specialist to Southern Africa to
make reservations to this extra-special destinations.You will be providing reservations advice,
and finalising reservations for clients by providing expert travel advice for
clients wishing to make reservations to Southern Africa.It will be your responsibility to prepare
itineraries and other quotations, as well as providing general travel
advice.It will be necessary to
checking availability and place bookings with safari lodges, hotels, and
other accommodation, research flight options for clients and place car hire
bookings.You will manage all aspects
of the relationship with your clients including sales, collection of monies,
dispatch of travel documents, and resolving such issues as may arise from
time to time.Other duties would see
you updating the company database and website as needed. The successful
candidate will have a good knowledge of travel to Southern Africa -
especially South Africa
and safari lodges - and a proven track record in selling holidays and safaris
to South Africa
and the neighbouring countries.You
will have a clear and professional communication style, with good telephone
and written skills, good organisation, time management and prioritisation
skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team when
required, as well as good numeracy and computer skills.Graduates who are well travelled to Southern Africa and show the potential to develop
quickly in the role will also be considered.The role is Monday to Friday, and will give you the opportunity to
travel overseas.
