My client a leading marketing and advertising whose head office is based in South East London are currently looking for a fast thinking, enthusiastic, results driven Sql.net Developer to join their friendly and growing team. Their main clients include some very well known international household brands. We are looking for lateral thinking and dynamic, bright candidates.We are looking for a candidate to go in and developer a Database from day 1.The ideal candidate will have Web development skills.
The successful candidate will:
·Work with several Microsoft SQL Server instances running versions 2000, 2005 and 2008.
·Design and implement bespoke database solutions, both internally and for clients.
·Liaise with clients and account managers to define and specify data requirements.
·Produce DTS/SSIS packages to import/export large volumes of data between SQL Server and flat files.
·Produce high quality T-SQL scripts to transform data, developing stored procedures and functions as required.
·Work to deadlines to deliver data selections as defined by a business analyst.
·Carry out data cleansing and de-duplication tasks.
Essential Requirements:
·A minimum of 2/3 years experience developing with relational databases delivering high quality T-SQL code (other RDMS experience taken into consideration).
·Proven track record of working with large databases (60million+ records)
·Ability to work alone as well as an effective team member.
·Excellent communication skills.
·Working knowledge of how to optimize database performance.
Desirable Requirements:
·SQL server DBA
·Experience of data cleansing and de-duplication
·Experience of CRM systems.
