Our client, an independent health and safety consultancy specialising in undertaking risk assessments for a wide variety of workplace hazards is on the lookout for an experienced Stack Emissions Engineer to join a Birmingham based team. The company provides a comprehensive occupational hygiene service from initial assessments, monitoring and surveys to solutions aiming to provide services which are tailored to clients needs, providing clear, pragmatic and cost effective advice to enable risks to be appropriately managed and controlled.
Qualified
Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area
Salary: Dependent on experience with a comprehensive commission structure
Experience:
Experience of carrying out stack emission monitoring within the industry sector
Duties
Testing of stack emissions to relevant international and European standards
Leading teams of technicians and project managing
Producing technically accurate reports
Creating and developing relationships with clients to further business
Ensuring work is carried out to the full requirements of MCERTS and UKAS
Carrying out pollution monitoring campaigns at industrial complexes throughout the UK. Stack data processing
Operation and calibration of sampling equipment.
Occupational Hygiene Testing
Projects
Examples of emissions testing services include Steel Manufacturers, Oil and Gas Refineries, Automotive Manufacturers, Metal Refiners and Processes.
