Job Title: Statistical Modellers (SAS) x 3
Location: Cardiff
Start: Autumn 09
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Aspire have a number of vacancies throughout the UK for statisticians to join the credit risk modelling teams of a large UK bank.
The Role
- Research and develop leading edge data research, risk measurement and modelling techniques.
- Undertake ad-hoc statistical work as required.
- Apply the approved statistical techniques to a high standard
- Build risk, collections and behavioural models.
- The development and ongoing refinement / improvement of expected loss models
Candidate Specification
- SAS and SQL skills.
- Understanding of standard modelling methodologies.
Broader knowledge of statistics and statistical modelling techniques
- Expertise in the development, application and implementation of credit risk quantitative techniques (e.g. regression; stochastic processes; etc.)
- Advanced degree in Statistics or related area ( Operational Research, Mathematics, Econometrics)
