An established, international footwear retailer is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Store Manager. With over 150 stores and expansion plans for 2009, this is a brilliant opportunity for a retailer to join a reputable and successful brand!! This recognised retailer offers a stress free way to buy shoes for you and your family, with products ranging from affordable own branded footwear too popular upmarket brands.
Applicants must have previous retail management experience. Fashion or footwear experience is not essential, however working within a fast paced, high turnover environment is! Store Management experience is preferred, but Assistant Managers from a large turnover store will be considered. Experience of managing high levels of stock is important, as is having strong planning and organising skills and the ability to lead and motivate a large team of staff.
As the Store Manager your responsibilities will include; driving sales targets whilst ensuring high branch standards, recruiting and training your team to provide a great customer experience, being confident in dealing with high levels of stock and ensuring you are hands on at all times.
