On the back of strong trading this is currently one of the most successful retailers on the high street. This well established blue chip retailer has aggressive growth plans this year and needs an experienced supermarket manager to operate one of their key stores in the business for the succession of their key vacancies.
This store has the potential to exceed on its sales and KPI projections. The main accountabilities are to deliver on retail excellence through your people and have a focus on compliance, legalities and high store standards.
To be successful with the position you must have extensive retail management experience, whether it is at a store or deputy management level, preferably from a supermarket, DIY or mixed goods blue chip environment. It is important that you consider yourself to be a hands-on manager who leads from the front. You must have experience of dealing with budgets, setting exemplary store standards as well as dealing with the successions of your key people.
