Local Care Force is currently seeking a Substance Misuse Worker to join a Newcastle based organisation.
The client is a drug and alcohol service who offer support to clients with problems. They are a link for the hospital in question to various other treatment services. To be considered for this position you should have a proven track record working in this field. You will be expected to carry out the following:
- Offer Structured treatment such as psychosocial interventions to clients who have alcohol problems
- Work with ex-offenders who have offended due to their problem
- Write up support plans and follow them
- Key work clients
- Deal with outside agencies such as the Probation Service
The role is 6 month contract and could extend
