My client is a leader in the field of aerospace engineering and they are currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Manager to join their Product Assurance team. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing all quality work within the department pertaining to the procurement of equipment, parts and hardware for projects.
The Supplier Quality Manager will review supplier's manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure they meet the necessary product assurance standards, manage manufacturing, test, acceptance and delivery reviews. This position requires a solid background in Product Assurance as well as Quality Management experience.
The position of Supplier Quality Manager will interface with internal and external customers including procurement, project teams, product assurance and suppliers. You will also participate in supplier audits where necessary and should have good knowledge of ISO 9000. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a technical subject with extensive experience in product assurance and quality management with an understanding of space, aerospace, aviation of defence product assurance processes.
Applicants must be eligible for security clearance.
This position is based in Hampshire, commutable from Southampton, Fareham, Petersfield, Chichester, Portsmouth.
