Supply Chain Manager - Sheffield / Derbyshire
Salary - circa £28k plus benefits
I am looking for an experienced person to join an established clothing manufacturing firm and take responsibility for managing the supply chain.
The supplier base is in the Far East - the customer base is the UK retail sector. Your remit is to make sure that the potential issues with one don't affect the other.
Based from the UK office you will be responsible for mechanics of the ordering process and ensuring timely delivery. You will also look at more strategic issues including ensuring a value proposition is achieved both in terms of service levels and occasionally in terms of product supply.
As a part of this role you will manage a small team.
This role is integral to their success - it will report to the board and the individual will be given a huge amount of autonomy. They are a fast growing business with an enviable reputation and strong brand - this is a good time to be joining.

Alongside that you need to have experience in managing a supply chain function - ideally involving a Far East supplier base. It will also be and advantage if you have worked in a fast paced environment with a demanding customer portfolio.
