We are currently looking for an Support Assistant to work within Customer Services. The vacancy is based in South of the UK.
To be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation and registration of documents/applications, including those received electronically; the registration of fees, issuing of fee receipts, refunds and banking fees, in accordance with the Councils financial regulations and recording all applications on the register and other information records.
To be responsible for the production and circulation of documents as required and the maintenance of any relevant subscribers to such documents.
To assist in the process of updating the computer systems and the accurate retrieval of the stored information, including the preparation of documents
To assist in the testing of IT and other information systems as directed.
To assist in the administration and processing of documentation.
To be responsible for answering routine enquiries from members of the public, and third parties, in writing or by telephone, in a prompt, helpful and efficient manner.
To be responsible for general administrative support duties such as photocopying, filing, copying plans and word processing.
To be responsible for database entry of information, including letter monitoring, conditions and amendment monitoring and other activities.
Candidates must hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving your previous posts.
