As the Support Developer, you will liaise with external and internal sources and assist in developing bespoke systems for their recruitment. With demonstrable experience in a similar role you will be accustomed to using .NET platforms on a daily basis and will possess the ability to take ownership of any reported technical issues. As the Developer, you will be expected to maintain and support our web based applications, so experience of dynamic web application is essential. As each application uses a mix of Microsoft technologies, you must also have a background in ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server based databases.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing any client reported issues in a helpdesk capacity as well as working with the IT Manager on bespoke projects and gaining an understanding of the data structure and code. With an understanding of JavaScript, TSQL and HTML you will develop patches and upgrade our clients’ live installations to ensure that we continue to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Working as the Support Developer you will be the main point of contact for external clients, so an excellent telephone manner is essential. You will be used to working to tight deadlines with a flexible and positive approach to work. We are looking for a talented individual who can identify problems and implement a solution quickly and efficiently without causing disruption to our client base. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent IT graduate to acquire new development and programming skills in a fast paced environment.
