Key responsibilities:

- Allocate appropriate in-house or external surveyor/valuer for all new requests for risk surveys and valuations - assess underwriters' requirements.
- Instruct external surveyors/valuers via email.
- Book appointments for one of two in-house surveyors using outlook calendars considering geographical areas and travel times.
- Liaise with brokers, underwriters and high net worth clients via telephone, email and face to face.
- Log and update excel spreadsheet and internal database at all stages of survey process with detailed info.
- Look through returned survey/valuation reports, check for errors, log any under/over-insurance and requirements.

Key requirements:

- Excellent communication skills - professional telephone manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines/within service standards.
- Team player.
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience of using Outlook Calendars/diary management is preferred.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
