TELEMARKETING SALES PROFESSIONAL / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SALES EXECUTIVE.

£18-20k Basic £22-24k uncapped OTE + Benefits.

Healthcare & medical insurance sector.

Company:

A leading and successful consultancy specialising in private business medical insurance and allied benefits including health screening, dental and overseas cover.

Role:

  • Sales and promotion of Healthcare Insurance solutions.
  • Cold calling and warm calling clients with the aim of securing quality client appointments for the field sales team.
  • Working from an existing and cleansed client database with readily available leads.
  • Proactively prospecting for new business and gaining referrals
  • Selling to both small and large organisations.
  • Building and forming solid business relationships with key decision makers within companies
  • Ensuring a high level of service is delivered coupled with increasing revenue.
  • Responsible for understanding client needs.
  • Overcoming any obstacles and objections.
  • Selling the benefits of this organisation.
  • Arranging a qualified appointment for a field sales consultant to attend a client meeting across a designated territory.
  • Keeping in constant dialogue with clients and building long term client rapport.
  • Additional duties may include sending out and managing mail shots.

Ideal requirements:

  • Must have solid and successful telemarketing and appointment making experience.
  • This relevant experience must have been gained in a targeted business to business sales or telesales environment.
  • Must be trained on gaining appointments and have a proven understanding of the sales cycle and the steps to gaining quality and qualified appointments with decision makers.
  • Must have strong research skills, ability to negotiate and overcome objections, a professional and consultative sales approach, ability to liaise with high level key decision makers and ability to close appointments.
  • Telemarketing experience gained in business healthcare, corporate finance or business services would be beneficial.
  • Otherwise proven skills gained in business to business IT, IT software, employment law or similar sectors would be suitable.
