OUR CLIENT, ONE OF THE UK's LEADING SUPPLIERS OF PVC WINDOWS, DOORS, AND ROOFLINE PRODUCTS TO THE TRADE AND SME SECTOR ARE LOOKING TO APPOINT A MANAGER FOR THEIR NEW BRANCH IN THE WEST BROMWICH REGION. AS BRANCH MANAGER YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS BOTH ON THE TRADE COUNTER AND BY TELEPHONE. COMPUTER LITERATE, FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE AND A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF PVC WINDOWS AND ROOFLINE PRODUCTS IS ESSENTIAL.
THIS ROLE WILL INVOLVE LOADING/UNLOADING OF DOORS, WINDOWS, FRENCH DOORS ETC SO APPLICANTS MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND CAPABLE OF HANDLING SUCH WEIGHTS
The Company.....
Part of a highly successful specialist home improvements group we are a leading supplier of pvc windows and roofline products in the UK. We currently have branches in operation throughout the UK and due to continued expansion we are looking to strengthen our operation in the West Bromwich region.
The Role......
You will have full responsibility for the branch liaising with both prospective and existing customers on the trade counter and over the telephone, reporting directly to the Regional Manager. You will be preparing detailed quotes using Windows Designer and preparing invoices through Sage Software (full training provided). Stock control will also form part of the duties as will very occasional deliveries if required. Your customer base will be mainly trade and SME.
The Ideal Candidate...........
Will be someone with a good understanding / knowledge of pvc window and roofline products either directly from the industry or possibly a construction background. Someone who can work off their own initiative, requires minimum supervision and has an "own business" attitude.
Essential requirements.........
*Full clean driving license
*Computer literate (specific training will be provided)
*Experience of payment/invoice handling
*Professional approach when dealing with customers
*Excellent communication skills
*Motivated and proactive approach to your work
Remuneration........
Basic salary will be £25K with a 20% profit related bonus on basic salary which is easily achievable within the first 6 months so an overall minimum OTE of £30K. Car, mobile phone, flexible holidays plus the possibility of further benefits after completion of a successful probationary period.
