One of the Midlands major employees, a leading, independent retail travel company is currently seeking an experienced Retail Travel Sales Consultant for their Burton on Trent branch. This post is part time or full time permanent position.
Offering a basic salary up to GBP12,500 dependent on experience gained for full time , and a competitive hourly rate for part time ,plus monthly bonus scheme, as well as pension, generous staff discounts, concessions, educational and free parking.
- You will be working 37.5 hours per week - based on 5 in 7 day trading pattern for full time , or 3 to 4 days a week part time dates and times to be agreed .
- Work as part of a small team in a busy retail travel branch
- Dealing with customers face to face and by phone to book all their travel requirements including package holidays, cruise and tailor-made bookings to worldwide destinations
- You will be using Tarsc and Viewdata reservations systems
- You will assist with the day to day running of the branch including operations and administration.
- You will be working in a sales environment and working to targets
As a Retail Travel Sales Consultant you will have.
Previous experience as a retail travel sales reservations consultant
- Experience of using Viewdata will be advantageous
- Strong track record of delivering travel reservations, sales results and exceptional service.
- A genuine passion for travel with first hand experience and knowledge of travel destinations.
- Part time positions must be flexible on days and hours worked.
