One of the UK's leading long haul tour operators is seeking a Travel Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Team leaders and Sales Consultants in a busy call centre environment. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring profits are maximised at all times and proactively initiating new projects in line with business strategy. Duties will include:
Developing and driving sales strategy for the call centre, reviewing and updating business objectives in line with business strategy
Ensuring call volumes and operational quality are managed closely
Liaising with Marketing department to drive business strategy
Performance manage Team Leaders, setting personal objective plans and developing through coaching
Ensuring the sales process is adhered to on every call
Using product and destination information to enhance sales
Building excellent relationships with other departments
Developing and monitoring exciting sales incentives
You must be passionate about sales and have previous experience in a management role within a sales based call centre. You must have strong commercial acumen and the ability to coach, develop and influence a team.
