An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a global investment bank which has established a new operation in Birmingham. The business aims to recruit a Team Leader within their Cash Equity Client Service team.
You will be responsible for providing support to the Middle Office and their processing of transactions generated from the investment bank's Global Markets Business. Inclusive of this is working efficiently within a controlled environment, reducing risk and providing excellent services to the clients.
Applications are invited from candidates with excellent academic attainment with the following:
*Providing leadership, guidance and support to the team, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
*Monitoring KPI's, motivating, training and developing staff where required.
*Challenging the processes and implementing process improvements.
*Identify and resolve complex and/or problematic situations to determine appropriate solutions.
*Assist in the escalation of procedures and implementation of policies.
*Acting as escalation point for issues.
Key skills and attributes will include:
*Capabilities in supervising teams
*Proven record of staff development
*Understanding and knowledge in developing key control procedures.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with resilience working under pressure.
*Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
*Pressure handling and meeting deadlines
*Accurate, thorough and highly responsible with strong attention to detail.
