Main purpose of role:
o To manage a social work team with responsibility for the purchasing/assessment function.
o To be individually responsible for delegated budgets, or participate in the corporate allocation of budgets, as required.
o To participate in the overall management of Children's and Family Services.
o To act as Day Duty Manager as required.
o To promote and implement legislation, Departmental policies and procedures and to act in accordance with agreed Service Principles and practices.
o Management of certain provider services as determined from time to time.
