Team Manager - Operations
This is a six month fixed term contract.
Various work patterns
Day - 9am to 5pm
Evening - 12pm to 8pm Monday – Thursday, 9am to 5pm Friday

About the role
ISA Servicing &Tax is crucial to our wellbeing here at Nationwide and we're shortly moving into the ISA peak period. It is a demanding time for this area of the business where things move fast and no one stands still for very long. Managing a team in this operational environment with a strong focus on business controls, people management, process improvement and clear communication, you’ll drive efficiency through excellent operational and people management skills.
About you
Positive, motivated and with an inspirational approach to getting the best out of your team, you won’t be afraid to tackle difficult situations and use your performance management skills to resolve issues. A highly professional business attitude is essential, with the ability to meet deadlines and develop creative solutions that improve performance; you’ll be a superb communicator as you articulate the department’s needs and our key corporate messages. You’ll have a background in managing a high volume business and working towards challenging targets, and you may have a background in Financial Services too.

Target salary for this role is circa £29k dependent on experience.
