A Technical Account Manager is required by a leading global Equity Trading Software organisation to manage Software Implementation projects for some of their most strategically important clients.
The Technical Account Manager vacancy calls for a candidate who has a technical background but also excellent client facing, project and relationship management skills so that different internal and external resources can be pulled together to ensure successful delivery of Software Implementation projects. The Technical Account Manager will also be the main point of contact to coordinate resolution of any major technical support problems after implementation.
Applicants to the Technical Account Manager vacancy must have the following.
- Technical background, ideally around software implementation, which includes an understanding of hardware, networks, databases etc in order to gain credibility in front of clients
- Solid experience in tough client facing roles within professional organisations. Ideally candidates will have experience of implementing Software in the Financial Markets space.
- The ability to Project Manage complex software implementations for the highly demanding Investment Banks
As well as the skills above, it goes without saying that for such a pivotal and influential position, you must have a can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills.
