The Position
A Technical Co-ordinator to work for a high calibre, experienced management team with a progressive, people-orientated culture
The Role
· To act as the key technical contact for the customer for all day-to-day issues and queries ensuring that channel of communications flow between the customer and site teams
· To ensure the customers needs are met cognisant of business constraints
· To deliver the technical elements of the NPD pathway in line with specific customer requirements
· To work alongside the development and process teams to achieve a successful launch against the critical path ensuring that all customer technical requirements are accurately completed on time
· To seek to delight the customer and deliver continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
· To build a good working relationship with the key customer technical contacts ensuring that appropriate and agreed levels of communication are maintained. To ensure that the customer feels "looked after" in every respect and that a feeling of complete honesty andtrust is maintained
· To be involved in customer site visits and audits as required, generating reports of any corrective action raised and responding to the customer with appropriate close outs within the agreed timescales
· To provide regular complaint data to the factory in a format that is easily understood. To highlight any trends and concerns with particular products or issues. To be actively involved in complaint reduction initiatives, all corrective action to be sustainable and proven
· To create customer specifications for all new and EPD products in line with the NPD trial specification and supplier raw material specifications
· To complete any customer specific reports and KPI's as required, ensuring that any contributions required from other areas of the business are received and incorporated. To ensure timely submission of all such reports
· To feedback any comments or actions from these reports to the business and ensure any corrective action required is taken on board and actioned

· Manages time effectively to achieve objectives set
· Apply appropriate techniques to resolve challenges, with team working and effective communication to bring about resolution and on-going support
· Working with all others towards a common goal, whilst displaying personal behaviour that exemplifies company values
· Ensure that others likely to be affected by implementation are involved
Specifics
· Proven experience in a technical role for a food manufacturing supplying to a major retailer, ideally in a high risk chilled production environment
· Graduate or qualification in food related subject
· Demonstrate communication skills - for confident and professional liaison with internal and external customers
· Self motivated and responsible for time management
· A users knowledge of standard software systems
