We are a multi-disciplinary developer based in the Channel Islands.
As our Technical team continues to grow and develop we are looking for an enthusiastic Manager to coordinate and organise our Technical Department. This position will be key in providing a quality support and structure to the Technical Team, providing workload and priority planning and tracking management. Preference will be given to applicants with a design coordination background.
You will be responsible for day to day Planning and organisational duties and providing full support to the Technical Director and all members of the Technical team.
Key duties include:
Prepare and update as required design programmes necessary for the execution of the works.
Prepare and update as necessary the programmes required to monitor the progress of the works.
Prepare technical design progress reports for project meetings.
Work in close liaison with the Technical Managers and Technical Director to monitor the progress of the works and department.
Manage the flow of information from the Design Team and advise the Construction teams of any impact to progress and programme.
Set up & maintain the project Drawing Registers and ensure all documents are produced, recorded and distributed.
Ensure all documents for Contractor Designed Elements are recorded, distributed and forwarded for approval.
Advise the Site team of all matters, which have an impact to the build programme.
Ensure the quality procedures in respect to his/her duties are implemented.
Prepare and update Information Release Schedules.
Provide necessary information to the Procurement Department to enable the Procurement of Materials & Subcontractors (i.e. Drawings, Specification details).
Prepare information pack to potential commerical clients.
Introduce improvements where appropriate to areas of responsibility.
Review the performance of the department individuals on a monthly basis.
Prepare, monitor and report against design budgets.
