Technical Engineering Manager – Laser Modules – Home Counties - 241115
Due to continued expansion, my client who is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high performance laser products now requires a Technical Engineering Manager
Heading up a team of 4 experienced product, process, and development engineers, you will be both an experienced manager and engineer.
Your responsibilities will cover all product and process engineering as well as product development and all engineering improvements and changes associated.
As a successful candidate you will be from a technical manufacturing background, ideally in the Photonics, Optics or Laser industries, and you will have the drive and enthusiasm to develop both people and products.
You will also take responsibility for NPI, from initial customer and technical meetings, through to the implementation of new production lines and processes, as well as the continual process and yield improvements.
You will also liase with the sales group, regarding product build schedules and be pro-active in identifying areas where engineering changes, and improvement can be made.
As a person you will be an excellent communicator, with strong people management skills, and the enthusiasm and drive to implement a wide range of engineering improvements.
