The

Our client is at the forefront of optical technology, developing unique
products, which will help reduce greenhouse emissions by improving the
efficiency of power production. Enjoying continual and rapid growth they now
seek an accomplished Project Manager to complement their team.
The Role:
This new
and exiting role of Project Manager will play a critical part in the business
and would be responsible for managing the early stages of product development,
taking new ideas through to prototype stage. Leading a team of c. 10 highly
specialist and qualified engineers the role requires interaction with all
departments and clients. This really is a fantastic opportunity for some who is
not only passionate about technology but someone who wants to grow and enjoy
the success of a company at the cusp of greatness.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate for this Project Manager role will have a good first
degree in a relevant subject (e.g. engineering or physics) and have experience
managing technical teams in fields such as optical sensing/
telecoms/optoelectronics. The successful Project Manager will be an extremely
good communicator but also someone that is good at dealing with the essential
organisation and control of projects.
