We
seek a technically qualified Technical Support Engineer who has over 2 year's experience of development, support or test of precision mechanical devices such as solenoid valves, actuators or similar for
aerospace/space applications. In this role you will be asked to support all the technical aspects of valve product life cycles from initial customer enquiries through to final delivery for space and aerospace applications.
Previous experience of space industry product support or development of precision mechanical devices would be extremely useful together with valve design and managing valve test programmes.
You
should be comfortable in dealing directly with customer design teams
and have the ability to think on your feet and solve situations as they
arise. You should also be willing to undertake short-term travel as
required.
