TELESALES OR INSIDE SALES EXECUTIVE
READING, BERKSHIRE Based
£21,500 - £30,000 OTE PER ANNUM (6 Month contract basis initially)
Due to the success of the IAPP in the US & Canada, which is a world leader in Accounts Payable training, there is now an exciting opportunity available for an experienced telesales or inside sales executive or manager to join the UK team in Reading.
You will be directly responsible for generating new membership sales on the back of proactive and weekly marketing initiatives. It is initially for a 6 months contract with a very good potential to win a permanent long-term role. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00AM to 5.30PM with 1 hour lunch break. There is flexibility with the hours for the right candidate.
Main duties:
1.Hit monthly new IAPP member targets and metrics mutually agreed
2.Make 30-40 phone calls a day with goal to have 8-12+ good conversations
3.Progress opportunities to convert to new IAPP members
4.Maintain and develop customer and prospect database using our CRM system
5.Maintain and develop existing members/sponsors
6.Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information
7.Input new member information to Netforum, send out membership packs/letters.
8.Liaise with the US IAPP Head office
Person profile:
Personality: Self motivated and confident at dealing with people on the phone and face to face.You should also be a clear thinker who is metrics/goal driven and comfortable dealing with many different personality types.Reliable, tolerant and determined to achieve results, quick thinking, empathetic and approachable.
Specific job skills: Must be adept in the use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Internet.Previous use of a sales Customer relationship management system would also be beneficial.
