The Company:
This company are a pioneer in their field and have become one of the largest players in their market worldwide. Originating in the 1940’s they design, manufacture and service a variety of test and measurement equipment which is utilised in a number of industries including manufacturing, aerospace and communication. Due to expansion the company now requires a number of engineers to strengthen and complement their existing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that is growing in the face of adversity and can offer genuine opportunities to move throughout the business into more senior and management roles.
The Role of Calibration and Repair Engineer:
As a calibration and repair engineer your role will require you to repair and calibrate the company’s plethora of test and measurement equipment utilising your electrical and electronic skills on a daily basis. This role would require you to be based on site where you would be working a Monday – Friday role with flexible hours and overtime available to complement your basic salary.
Key Skills:
The successful candidate must have experience repairing and calibrating test equipment e.g. spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, radio test sets and have strong electrical and electronic skills as standards are high within this organisation. The ideal candidate would have also achieved a recognised electrical/electronic qualification such as a HNC at some point in their career. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst still complying with the company’s high service standards are vital to work within this already established team.
