The role presents an opportunity within my clients packaging and product physical testing facility, a fast growing part of the business that focuses on the interaction between packaging, product and physical events of the supply chain. The facility allows physical simulation of shipment, handling, storage and climatic events through vibration, shock, compression, impact and extreme temperature testing. This expert group delivers validation, technical investigation and troubleshooting solutions to blue chip brand-owners and packaging manufacturers through testing and consultancy services.
The role includes:
undertaking and managing test-lab based evaluations
analysing and interpreting performance of packaged products
delivering results and conclusions to clients at key stages of their product and packaging development
managing aspects of lab operation
undertaking client contact in setting up work and delivering results.
As a key member of the team you will play a role in continuing the success and growth of this fast moving and dynamic operation.
The successful candidate must:
hold technical qualifications, preferably in engineering, physics, materials or related field
understand mechanics/dynamics
enjoy a hands-on environment and demonstrate practical ability
have experience in report writing
demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
have the ability to work well in a team.
Salary: 23,000 - 25,000pa + benfits
