Skills: High calibre 08/09 graduates- ideally with sales experience
Salary: £20k basic + uncapped commission + target incentives (i.e. holidays, cars etc) 1st year OTE £40k, 2nd £70k +

My client is leading IT Recruitment consultancy working within the financial markets. It is their job to source the best IT Professionals and place them within a variety of businesses ranging from SME’s to FTSE 100 companies within the financial services sector. With a good reputation in the market their performance during the recent ‘credit crunch’ has been exceptional compared to some of their competitors. My client is now looking to grow considerably over the next several years and expand into new and exciting market sectors.

The Role
? Write adverts
? Screen CV’s
? Interview candidates both over the phone and face to face
? Win new business for the company largely via cold calling
? Maintain existing client relationships
? Set up and prepare candidates for interview
? CLOSE DEALS and CELEBRATE your COMMISSION earnt!!
As a trainee consultant you will be responsible for all the above. You will be given one on one and group training constructed both in a practical and theoretical sense. You will be paid a percentage of commission on every deal you make.
Candidates will be expected to build up a desk and run it like their own business with the company infrastructure in support to help achieve targets set.
The ‘RIGHT’ Candidate
You will be a recent graduate with a good academic background including good A-levels. Those with sales experience will be at more of an advantage in the screening process although this is not mandatory. Candidates should be outgoing, confident, competitive and motivated being able to give examples from sporting, drama and employment backgrounds.
Candidates should fully understand that recruitment consultancy can be a very hard and competitive career to work in but for those who succeed it will be well worth it. Candidates can expect to earn high amounts of money and progress through the company hierarchy quickly if they achieve targets set.
