authorised by the FSA to conduct regulatory business we offer excellent
training packages for you to reach a stage whereby you have gained an industry
recognised qualification, CeMAP and documentary evidence of your Ascend
training –an invaluable asset when
applying for a future position with an authorisedmortgage intermediary.

Stage
One - Product Knowledge
Ascend will provide you with the core knowledge
required to confidently identify a need for clients and where possible
recommend a non-regulated option or refer the client on for a regulated
solution.
Opening up “The Adviser Zone” on our website
provides representatives with all the relevant product knowledge necessary in
the form of:
·Pre-course Training Guides.
·Pre-course Assessments.
Assessments
are completed for each product/service we offer, demonstrating a full understanding
for your Training and Competency file.
Stage
Two – Marketing & Business Development “The Hidden Path”
Having
proved that you have the desired level of product knowledge, we can then focus
your learning on developing a business.Ascend will provide you with comprehensive training days, covering:
·Where your market place is
·Marketing
·Making effective introductions
· Relationship Building
·Identifying Opportunities
We will
help you to build an effective introducer network in your local area, ensuring
that you can spend your time visiting clients whilst accessing a steady stream
of new clients.
Stage Three
- Ongoing Support
Having provided you with the product knowledge and full business
development plan you will have access to:
· Manager support and encouragement.
·Office based product specialists.
At
Ascend, we are realistic.Representatives
are not expected to be expert in all areas of financial services. However, as
an introducer, we will provide you with product desks and specialists to ensure
that both introducer and client needs are fully satisfied.
The ongoing support is backed up by a Structured
Reporting Program:
·Helping Ascend identify training requirements early.
·Giving Representatives regular reviews.
·Ensuring accountability and continual monitoring.
Stage Four - Achieving Full Financial
Independence
The
most important of all the stages and the one all Ascend Representatives are
working towards.With the help of Ascend
and with your commitment you will become financially independent,
with an established client bank built up over a period of time, ensuring future
success but most importantly profitability.
Goal
Two
CeMAP
Training Program (Unqualified Only)
As an unqualified prospective Representative of Ascend, your objective
will be to undertake, study and pass all three CeMAP papers. With our support,
this will be easier than you expect. After formal registration with the
Institute of Financial Services, each Representative will be entered onto our
uniquely designed e-Course system.
This includes:
Sections of the training
syllabus to read and study.
An activity designed to get
your brain working based on the subject.
On going assessment.
Examination test papers.
Our CeMAP Training Program is designed to be flexible, when and where
you study is up to you.
With a laptop and a WiFi connection it will allow you to take study away
from the office or home and out into the world.
We also accommodate different learning styles and speeds. With commitment
and our proven support, you will obtain all 3 CeMAP papers in the shortest time
possible without pressure.
