Transport Manager
Primary purpose of role Manage Warehouse Transport Operation, Manage the Transport Team, Support the Warehouse Account Manager and provide cover in his absence.
Key Accountabilities
- Transport Regulations: To ensure that all drivers are compliant with Drivers hours and Working time Regulations.
- Ensure all vehicles are managed in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Management of all Transport team including welfare, development, sickness and performance Management.
- KPI's for the transport operation.
- Regular reporting of activity and cost both internally and externally.
- Staff development and performance management
