Transport Shift Manager - Lincolnshire
Salary: 25-30DOE
Location: Lincolnshire
Operational & Job Duties
* Responsible for the efficient and effective day to day running of the operation
* Monitor customer performance indicators - ensuring all targets and operational objectives are met and agree corrective actions where appropriate
* Responsible for assisting with the timely maintenance and the upkeep of the fleet
* Collation / recording of records, ensuring all legal driving and maintenance requirements are met
* May under certain circumstances be required to deputise for Operations Manager
* Responsible for the recording, collation and advise of all required financial KPI and MCP monitors
Communications
* Liaising with the Central Logistics Team and other sites on management level issues.
* Development of sound industrial relations with Trade Union Representatives
* Continual promotion of the team concept and encouragement of team participation
* Ensure effective and ongoing communication channels are in place eg: team meetings and one to one meetings
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Must be flexible as required to work shifts
* Must be able to perform effectively in what can be an extremely pressurised environment, particularly during times of peak demand
