Travel Sales Consultant
We are seeking Travel staff to join a busy and growing Retail Travel Branch in Southampton, Hampshire. Starting salary of up to £12,500 plus commission and excellent family discounts for all travel.
This exciting position offers great prospects within a well established and thriving Travel Agency group. Working amongst a friendly and customer focused team you will be selling Travel Holidays in a face to face Retail sales role.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Providing the best possible Customer Service, responding to all customers promptly and courteously and in a friendly manner
• Sell worldwide holidays to members of the public
• To strive to achieve branch and team sales targets
• To proactively sell appropriate “add-ons” and ensure that clients have the correct documentation for their travel, E.g. Passport, Visa.
• To monitor bookings throughout the day, ensuring problems do not occur.
• To share day to day branch duties, including office tidying, banking, filing and general administration, ensuring Company instructions and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• To ensure brochures are well stocked and tidily displayed at all times.
Experience required for this role;
• You must have a reasonable amount of recent experience of working within Retail Travel Sales
Staff are required to cover for other branches when within reasonable travelling distance – expenses/mileage paid, and to attend a few days training at another branch - expenses/mileage paid.
