A Global Travel Retail Company is currently looking for an experience Travel retail Manager to be in charge of managing business at an area level, managing all hands-on operational aspects.
Support the DCOO within the Business Unit. This includes Operation Retail, Marketing Pricing, Category Management, Business Development, Sales and Support functions.
Responsibilities and Key activities
o Participate in determining the correct sales strategy for the Business Unit
o Participate in the determination of the investment and development plan
o Develop all necessary actions to ensure that objectives are met within set budget
o Define all commercial criteria to be applied in the shops (Lay out, Pricing, Promotions, Category selectiono ) in coordination with Marketing and Category Management
o Ensure that decisions and recommendations from BU management are applied in shops.
o Regularly visit point of sales
o Promote Dufry as a brand inside shops and ensure that a high standard of customer service is implemented
o Ensure that shops are run in accordance with legal rules, technical specifications as safety regulations
o Ensure that there is a positive and good work ethos in all shops. Identify and implement necessary trainings within the shops
o Ensure that all staff and material are present in accordance with the activities requirements
o Follow sales evolutions and analyse figures to prepare weekly and monthly activity reports
o Ensure a correct level of reporting from shops
o Guarantee the correct implementation of promotions
o Regularly control stocks situation and issue monthly shop count inventories
o Review staff performance and track FTE by department
o Guarantee a fluid organization in the delivery of shops by the DC
o Ensure the coordination with the airport authorities and other authorities.

o Promotions Meeting
o Assortment and Layout Meting
o Regional Management Committee
Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Business
o 5 - 7 years of retail experience, to include 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity
o Preferably knowledge of the luxury branded consumer goods industry
o Fluent in English
o Mandarin and Cantonese will be preferred
o Preferably previous experience in working in China
