The Services Experience UX Design team (NEX) is a multidisciplinary team whose charter is to design world-class, end-to-end experiences that span across Nokia's Services. These experiences must be desirable, thoughtful, consistent, and easy-to-use. Our goal is to ensure full integration of brand, industrial design, user interface, graphic design, usability, and business strategy into compelling user experiences for our diverse consumer audiences.

As a UX designer on the One Ovi Team you must think conceptually, practically and work quickly. You are passionate about the mobile and software industries. Your designs will help define premier mobile, web, and PC, service experiences. The ability to understand user behavior, create compelling UX visual designs and IA models, deal with technical considerations, and deliver simple, compelling, design solutions across devices, web and PC is critical.

This position will contribute towards software design vision setting and scenario development as well as delivering innovative interaction models with a world-class look and feel. A strong portfolio of work showing innovative visual or IA design thinking, presented in a clear way is essential.

You'll work closely with the creative leads, as well as the extended teams to produce a variety of work; short turn around tactical projects, longer-term strategic work, prototypes, and presentations for communicating our work internally and externally.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and practice working with all aspects of the user-centered design process with a focus on software and mobile design.
Extremely strong visual sensibilities, proven ability to use visual thinking, storyboards, sketching, and communication design to create breakthrough interaction design.
Meticulous sense of detail and ability to seek out simple solutions to complex design challenges.
Always approach a project from multiple angles, and deliver a variety of solutions.
Deep understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition, colour and animation etc.)
Experience working collaboratively in an agency or corporate enviroment and must possess good communication skills.
Master of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and all related business and design tools.
A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field
Ability to travel internationally occasionally
