An excellent opportunity to work for a leading International Underwriters who seek a 2.1 Engineering graduate (Maths grads also considered) or equive to work for their Construction Underwriting team.
You will also have an A level Maths grade B+ (OR equiv)
Duties are to support the Active Underwriter in
Entering schedule data and quotations accurately into system
Ensure that reinsurance split matches the underwriting stamp
Ensure that Underwriting Notes are complete
Log all bound, quoted, working and declined risks into the business log immediately
Ensure that the file is complete and contains all relevant documents. Obtain any outstanding items from the broker or underwriter in readiness for Peer Review
Ensure that signings are accurate and are consistent with written confirmations
Liaise with brokers to follow up on outstanding renewals as directed by the Underwriter
Follow up on outstanding quotes with the relevant broker
Produce standard and ad-hoc reports as required to assist the Underwriters
