Unix Systems Administrator- to £33k - Coventry, Warwickshire
Unix Systems Administrator is required by an expanding IT firm based in Coventry, West Midlands. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £26,000.
Duties
*Support the business by acting as the Senior point of contact for Pre Sales IT Service Delivery issues
*Manage an effective level of support via raising incidents & change requests with the appropriate 3rd Party supplier.
*Manage the escalation of risks and issues of IT Support to the Service Delivery Managers and manage through to resolution
*Provide system documentation and training
*Monitor systems performance and manage the continuous improvement process
*Produce technical specifications for Post Sales Application changes
*Support the delivery of all Post Sales Application changes
*Internal development of Post Sales systems and reports
Keyskills
*Knowledge of Unix (Preferably Aix)
*Application Support experience
*Experience in Application development and test scripting
*Knowledge of software development lifecycle
*Experienced in acting as a "Super" user in all major vendor software and WMS Systems
