Our client a highly successful organisation has created a new role for a VAT Advisor to join a thriving team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading employer within a fun and fast moving environment.
This is a key role for a new/recent business or finance graduate working with remote clients across the North East of Scotland.
This is a role where you will be home based working with clients within a 2 hour drive of the Aberdeen area. Ideal candidates will be based within this area.
You will play a key role in analysing key finance data and making recommendations in order to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Successful candidates will have the ability to take ownership of projects and manage their own client bank and work load. As visiting clients on site is a key part of this role a car and driving licence is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be from a business or a finance background but experience in VAT is not essential as full training will be given.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate yourself too deliver first class customer service are crucial for this challenging but rewarding role.
The ideal candidate will come from a numerate analytical environment or display similar qualities together with the ability to excel in a target related environment. Candidates will have excellent IT skills including Excel, databases and related PC packages.
This role is ideal for either a recent business graduate/HND level candidate, a business graduate with an industrial placement within a business/analytical environment or a graduate looking to make a 2nd move.
Client must be able to drive as extensive business to business travel with form an integral part of this role.
