Van Sales Representative
In this sales position you will be based at our Dartford Depot and report to your Area Sales Manager.
You will be working for either Sweetdirect or Snacksdirect and will be required to drive a 3.5 or 7.5 tonne Company van and follow journey plans to call on around 20 regular customers per day, developing sales and distribution of brand leading products to Grocery, Convenience Stores, Fore Courts, CTN, Licensed one off trade and industrial catering outlets.
You will additionally be required to develop commercial relationships, increase sales and develop your sales area by canvassing new business to achieve growth targets. You will manage stock and customer payment with the use of a hand held terminal.
The role is Monday to Friday, daytime hours and is approximately 40 hours per week.
The work is of a physical nature handling stock in the depot, on the vehicle and at customer’s premises and requires previous sales experience and a full UK driving licence for the 3.5 tonne or a C1 licence for the 7.5 tonne vehicles.
