Our Surrey/London based Web Solutions Group is a team of c. 180 staff who look after the ongoing development of our online portfolio. The team work collaboratively alongside a wide range of technical and commercial stakeholders in an Agile (SCRUM) environment, and utilising the latest Microsoft technology and development techniques. We are seeking a Web Development Team Leader to join us initially on a 1 year fixed term contract basis; looking after a team of 10-15 web developers you will provided day to day management of an experienced team looking after a major product area within our online portfolio. In addition to this you will work strategically and collaboratively with the senior management team across WSG to aid and facilitate ongoing development as we continue to grow. Required skills / experience -A strong hands-on web development background; ideally with ASP.Net / C# / Web Services etc -Experience of working and leading teams in an Agile (esp. SCRUM) development environment -Prior experience leading teams of 8+ development staff -Prior experience working at an equivalent level within a large corporate and/or large development house looking after major online products/brands In return we are offering a basic salary of up to £55,000 with full benefits to include 29 days holiday, pension scheme, life assurance, flexible working etc. The role is offered initially as a 1 year fixed term contract but being a large and growing organisation there may be scope beyond that. |
