BURY ST EDMONDS AREA
YOU MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO MANAGER THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Receive the daily production plan and ensures full shift delivery on a daily basis
Fully controls an delivers final product quality within specified retailer requirements.
Can communicate a constant update of where the team is against production planning, and can communicate effectively any deviations due or current
Can deliver against and improve factory and shift KPI's
Liaise with the Operations team on all areas of production and manufacturing
Maintain a record of daily production and generate weekly, monthly reports to monitor progress
Liaises with the warehouse to ensure that adequate packaging stocks are held in stock to meet orders.
Plans staff rotas to ensure that there is adequate number of staff on shifts.
Liaises with the Engineering Department as regards maintenance and repairs to packing equipment.
Liaise with the Quality Assurance Department and the Laboratory regarding Quality Matters pertaining to the department and shift
Identify and organise training needs for staff
capable of delivering GMP full audit and shift running compliance points
Capable of manufacturing within HACCP control points through the business.
Experience of managing within a unionised environment
Occasional liaison with other suppliers to ensure competitive advantage
Understanding of all Health and Safety, Food and Hygiene policies
Set agendas for internal and external audits and capable of passing BRC and Retail audit compliance
IDEAL EXPERIENCE ALREADY GAINED FOR ANY APPLICANT WILL BE:
Understanding of documented policies and procedures
Working knowledge of Food and Hygiene polices
Awareness of Health and Safety procedures
Expertise in Quality Management
At least 3 years experience in a senior/management role
Ability to work as part of a team and to work on own initiative
Planning and Organising
Self development and continuing personal development
MANAGEMENT QUALIFIED.
