Department Description -
The Strategic Programs and Governance group sits within WSS Operations, Securities Company based in Bournemouth. It provides project management support for major Investment Initiatives and technical changes that run specifically across multiple business groups within Securities Company and Clearance and Collateral Management, as well as cross product/lob initiatives.
Key Responsibilities -
The role will encompass the project management of multiple concurrent initiatives, acting as the operations project management lead throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for managing the formal deliverables throughout the project lifecycle as dictated by the project delivery framework, providing status reporting, project planning, meeting facilitation and managing and escalation of risk and issues.

Person Specification
Key Skills:
- A Project Manager with demonstrably excellent project management skills.
- Must have good interpersonal, relationship and negotiating skills.
- Somebody who is delivery-focused with a proven track record.
- Excellent skills in Project Planning; Budgeting; Risk & Issue Management; Change Management Skills
- Solid understanding of project planning tools e.g. Microsoft Project
- Ability to Work under Pressure and to Strict Deadlines
- Ability to Assess Risk and Escalation Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills with an Ability to Adapt to Different Audiences at all Levels
- Proven Organisational Skills
- Logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify Technology's alignment.
- Desire to work in an exciting business focused environment where he/she can influence the future success of the group.
Experience Required:
- Previous demonstrable experience in end to end project management and large, preferably operational, projects/programs. Minimum 5 years.
- Experience of MS Office suite.
Experience Nice To Have:
- Securities Company and/or Clearance and Collateral Management product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Prince 2 or PMI accredited
- Degree level
