Support workers required to work in a residential home for adults with learning disabilities?and complex needs to carry out the waking night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to work within a well-structured environment as part of a friendly and welcoming team. It is essential that you can demonstrate the skills and competencies required to work with this client group and that you are able to put firm, strong boundaries into place.
The unit is committed to providing a safe, nurturing yet stimulating environment in which young people of all ages that have previously experienced emotional pain, social and academic failure and rejection can stabilise their behaviour. Enabling individuals to acquire the necessary skills to change their lives for the better and empowering them to deal in a more positive manner with daily challenges. Support workers will provide direction to clients and contribute towards producing realistic and coherent plans of intervention through the development of individualised care, therapeutic and education plans.
You will preferably have a car & a full clean Driving Licence and be willing to travel.
